MAYA ANGELOU

I look at writers differently now

with their cocky ideas

and uninhibited self-promotion

it is really quite nauseating

enough to make any normal person

roll their eyes into their stomachs

I know this may seem hypocritical

as I am trying to become a writer

but I can assure you I am different

writing is my calling and my destiny

while all other writers are just

bored arrogant losers

who are afraid to get a real job

not me however!

I am the Maya Angelou of my generation
